A gateway at bestbuy was around 400. Had mine for 2 years and its still fast as ever and no problems.

I've got a bulletproof IBM X21 that runs XP just fine, weighs about two pounds, is 3/4" thick, and is matte black like a stealth fighter. Or something. I'll let it go for cheap!

thanks guys picked up a brand new loaded $350 gateway laptop. installed xp sp2 on it and im thrilled

thats the laptop, i bought it for $350 when it was on sale.dont worry though they go on ale a lot you can check slickdeals.net for good laptop deals
