DC/MD/VA Paint/Body shop?
Been way too busy to deal with the dinged bumper, now I'm ready to have the new bumper cover painted. Does anyone have a line on a professional shop in the area? Don't want to go through a dealer as they will just pass it to a shop, mark it up, after the shop marks it up.
Thanks in advance.

Just wanted to provide you guys with my experience with Mark's Body Shop.
I had my 7 series vandalized with a brick through the rear windshield and the entire right side of the car was also keyed. Total damage: $16,000.00
This shop appeared to have high praises from all the reviews and I decided to take my car to Mark's Body Shop.
Big mistake.
My car had so many careless scratches from the removal process, I had to take my car 3 times and it still is not perfect. It appeared that they used the screw driver to remove some interior trims/parts, and left deep gouges on or around the parts they removed and reinstalled. In short, they damaged additional parts and delivered the car as if it was completed. Parts of the interior trim pieces were incorrectly installed and eventually warped from their incorrect installations.
I still have to go back to repair more scratches they caused, but I just do not have the time to get it done.
The paint work/match was good, but they buffed the entire car too hard that it left hazing marks all over the car.
Please be warned that their work is very questionable. Jason and Jeremy are great with communication and appear to really care about your concerns. But, it stops there.
They lost my business for good.
With this said, I need to find the best body shop for a project for my GT3. Any other strong recommendations for extensive body work?

^^ D&V in Sterling, VA. I know its a hike, but its right down the street from IMA which I know you had some work done. They do all the body repairs/paint for Ferrari of Washington. Kevin is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I personally have been lucky enough to never need any body work/paint (knock on wood) but family members have had multiple cars fixed there, as well as many friends.

Hey guys, this thread is a bit dated but I'm looking looking for a quality shop to repair a little snafu I just had. Is D&V still the place to go? I read one opposing review but generally I've heard the name for awhile and its positive.
Thanks
Jeff

Hands down D&V. They worked on my 2012 XFR and the work was top notch.
Went back to them last year when I hit a deer with brand new durango. $16k in repairs and car looked brand spanking new.
