Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal June 6th - 8th

Anybody going? I know this is semi-late notice but I think a few of my friends and I are going to try to make the trip up there and wanted to know if anybody wanted to carvan. I might take the M or I might roll in my friend's STi...

General Admission tickets are $135 but I'm sure the atmosphere in Montreal is 100x better than Indianapolis (real European racing in North America). Also, this will be your only chance to see F1 in North America.

So let me know, I definitely want to go.

roughly 555 miles, never made the drive before so have no idea how long it will take. we used to drive to indy every year for the usgp, that was 585 miles and took us 7 1/2 hrs so im thinking around the same.

Do you guys have a place to stay up there?
We were just sitting around last night and were like "We should goto Montreal this year". We don't have tickets or a hotel room or anything...

cool...keep us informed...we'll definitely be in...

Can you find out where you are staying? I've never been to Montreal and I have *no* idea where a good place to stay is...hopefully you aren't spending $600/night right?

Do I need a passport and visa to get into Canada? I think I rather fly there than drive.
