Dealer experience?

Hey all,
I need to do oil change for Cayenne S and I was wondering if anyone recommends one place over the other.
I bought it from HBL but I was told that a Porsche dealer in MD is "better"
I think it costs about 300 dollars to do oil change(?).
Thanks!

I will NOT use Tischer anymore. Lately, I have been using Rockville. They seem helpful.

Neither will I,

Though i do not own a porsche at the moment, the one experience i had with tischer porsche left me no choice but to drive further to get any work done on the vehcile than to of dealt with their shanangins (however it is spelled!).

Do it yourself. Can't be that difficult. I just changed it a few weeks ago and it was really simple. I'll see if I can find instructions for you. And trust me, if I can do it pretty much anyone can. I'm what you would call car-tarded when it comes to these things......

Hmm On my 04 Cayenne the drive shaft failed and I was 600 miles out of warantee and Rockville, whom I bought the car from didn't want to even try to go to bat for me. Never even received a call back! They just said sorry and that will be $1,500. Called Tisher and they covered the repair.

When I bought my GTS, I went back to Rockville since they are 2 miles from where I work. Started to talk prices with the salesman and told him what I was willing to spend. Salesman said he might be able to work with me and again I never heard back from them! So they lost a customer for life. My number two option would be HBL. I'm sure all the dealers are hit and miss....

Well except the fact that I exchanged a vehicle within a week because passenger seat and rear seats were making strange noise and they had to replace all of them.
I talked to the manager and got another vehicle and it's problem-free.

Sales - 8 out of 10
Service - 6 out of 10 because I've only been there twice (one for new tire and oil change).

IMO, Tischer is your best bet and I will try Tischer next time for 997 or whatever.

I would love to hear/address anyones issues with Tischer... Only way to remedy the problem is for us to know the issue and then we do our best to fix it.

Thanks,
Casey

George (MX Racer) had his gt3rs clutch and lightweight flywheel installed at Tischer and was very happy.

I've been going to Porsche of Arlington since 02, basically because it was a mile away from my house, and I've always had good experiences there. They sold me my fabspeed exhaust, and installed it, and I've done all my maintenance (in warranty and now out of warranty) there.

yah, the facility at arlington is a dump. I'm sure that land will eventually be developed into something else, but they take care of me, so I go back.

I know for a while, tischer was doing EVOms upgrade work. That was pretty cool. I went there when EVO brought out their GT800 car a few years back. If Im not mistaken, you guys don't do that anymore right?

I don't know if you bought your car from Arlington as well but sales dept. is terrible over at Arlington.
I was told that the owner changed couple years ago and it went downhill since then(?).
Anyways, I was in the market for another Porsche but I had terrible exp.
Maybe it's different for serv. dept.

Take it here, if you don't mind the drive. Talk to Andy Heyman.
