We had a little Hybridz.org shindig yesterday (We host one or two events every year) and Berk and Sean showed up with their Porsches! Good to hang with you guys... We had cars showing up right up until about 4PM... It was a pretty decent showing!

Mike, It was great to finally meet you in person as well. I know I had a great time as I'm sure Chris (SEAN996) did as well. 2 things to say, (1) that 996TT sounds like a BEAST and I would have loved to have gone for a ride in it, but (2) that Z you're building in the shop looks like it'll be even more of a beast....WHEW!!!!

Everyone was great and it's always a fun time meeting people with passions for different types of cars. Let us know ahead of time whenever you're in Northern VA again for meetings and such so we can get coffee, lunch or whatever.

Hope to see you at one of the next coffee meets and let's just say the Roads down to your house might be an idea for a future cruise......

 

Mike, thanks for the invite and I also had a great time. I believe Berk conveyed it best.

Who was the couple in the white SI? I saw them on three different roads, on the way home. The last siting was coming off of the P.W. parkway and we parted ways in Centerville. I second the future cruise Berk those were some nice roads.

 

^^That's right, the white Civic (we saw them a couple times, well the first was leaving the house, but then we saw them on Route 15). Hell, we were HAULIN *** then b/c we still stopped for a 10 minute fuel stop and caught up to them....HAHAHAHA.......Looks like those pulls on Route 3 saved us some time....hahahaha

Found out what was wrong with my car... Inlet turbo hose from the intake side was hand loose and popped off under boost... Could have been very bad....Fortunately I didn't drive it again hard... I checked the turbo out last night and no damage to the impeller blades or anything else that I can tell...

I'll set up a "cruise" for early fall... I think I have a break in track days between September and November!
