Question Thinking of getting a Jeep GC SRT8

Okay, I'm seriously thinking of buckling down and grabbing a Jeep GC SRT8. This means I will be handing over the C4S and DD to make the GC SRT8 the DD.....FULLY LOADED w/ all the bells and whistles........

Thoughts???? I can get a serious deal on a brand new 09 off the shelf!!!

B-

^^Thanks Mick, that's exactly what I'm thinking. I test drove one this weekend and let me tell you, the sheer POWER from that truck, but also it's capability and comfortable interior (MUCH different than the standard GC's) was incredible........I just hope I don't end up missing the C4S within like a few months, but the application of one DD that functions for it's utility during the work week and the passion for performance on GTG's is what I'm looking for, especially w/ a little Bambino coming.....

Take a look at an Overland with the hemi. I just bought one for the wife. Beautiful suede, leather and wood interior, all the bells and whistles. Looks like her SL Benz on the inside. Gas is about 17 per gallon average, the SRT8 is around 12.

GCSRT8... oh man best SRT8 out there

I have not driven the Challenger yet but I can tell you it was AMAZING. Handled great. At the SRT Track Experience, We actually auto-x'd it with the Caliber! Of all vehicles!

tons of fun... if you dont care about gas mileage. Then again... who buys a Jeep or an SRT looking for good gas mileage?

I say go for it!

The GC SRT-8 is one fantastic ride!! There's nothing like it (Don't even say Trailblazer SS, not even close).

You only live once, may as well go for it!!

Berk, Put the pipe down. They make child seats that can fit in the P car! A SRT 8 anything is cool.

Hey Mario!!! How's things buddy???? I was considering an Overland and creating an offroad runner (lift kit and all), but then was drawn back to the performance characteristics of the SRT8....does she like the Overland (we got a V8 XC90 beyond fully loaded w/ nav, DVD entertainment, 7 passenger, etc etc......performance and sheer power to blow the doors off many at least up to 70-80 is what I am eager to be able to do.....plus consider a S/C kit for it......dunno......OMG!!!! :O
