Had a visit from Boochook today...

Berk came down and we checked his clutch issue out... Always good to see another 6speeder in person. We drove his car (one of the cleaner 4s in the region) and then I let him drive mine to get the "feel" of the Clutch masters kevlar clutch and LWFW. I also gave him a little demo on the power of a K16/24 car !

Berk, keep me posted on how the clutch replacement goes and let's schedule dinner at Poplar Springs or Kelly's Ford!!

at least I know he won't be buying another naturally aspirated pcar. I warned you about these kinds of test drives. Once you go turbo, you can't go back!

^^^Mike - I can't thank you enough again for taking time out of your weekend to diagnose my issue. It's EXACTLY what you said. I spoke with Jonathan and he is going to do the replacement for me in April. The difference b/w the current state of my clutch and your clutch is night and day.....man it is BAD.....Dinner at Poplar Springs would be fantastic. I'll definitely keep you in the loop. Probably in the next couple weekends if that works for your schedule Mike.

Now, as for the Turbo, HOLY **** MAN!!!!!! That car is a ROCKET........Dave (Maxwell), you are absolutely right.....I am now HOOKED on Turbo's......seriously dude, let me know when you're ready to sell the 6TT.....your car would be a great frame to start with in my voyage to 700+HP.....

Hope all is well with everyone in the Mid-Atlantic.

Berk, Just a few things that came to mind that you'll need:

Coolant (I'd go ahead and flush it while he's there).
http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me...y_Code=996main

Rear Main Seal
http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me...y_Code=996main

Clutch kit (You lucky NON TURBO BASTAGE!!!)
http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=996Trans

Bolts for the kit! Don't see them listed, but ask the guys at Suncoast when you call them!

Tranny Fluid
http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=996Trans

Happy wrenching!

I really thought I was going to bleed your clutch system before you got there, but after driving the car, it's obvious you have an issue with the components. Keep us posted!

^^Oh man, Gunther, would have definitely extended you the invite to come on out. Mike looked at it for like 30 minutes (I was there maybe an hour) so it wasn't much of a GTG really. Next time for sure buddy.
