Anyone going? It's a really fun event. Road racing, drifting, car show, rollover contest, fireworks...what more could you want?

Thinking about it, lots going on this weekend. Ferrari meet, SCCA Solo event at FedEx, Brit Car Show in Baltimore County, MD, Phil area Lotus club holding a mulit-site meet (starting in MD), etc.

But...right now weather looks iffy for just about all of these.

I'll be there driving in the HPDE. The kids start to show up later in the afternoon and it turns into a party at night. There are always plenty of skanks and ne'er-do-wells who want to chit chat about cars while wondering how much your wheels will fetch on eBay.

I registered for 2 hyperdrive sessions.

I figure it's a nice affordable way to get some seat time in.

A couple of my friends are doing the HPDE event. Should be a blast.

Yeah the hyperdrives are awesome. I did it in my Mustang back in 2007. The rally ride-alongs are also a lot of fun. The best $5 I've ever spent lol.

They have rental helmets for free, if you don't mind using a helmet that's been whored out a little bit

OG Racing has a nice store at Summit Point Main. Cal them today and ask them if the store will be open for Hyperfest (my guess is that it will).

Turned out to get pretty nice, good event, def a diverse group of things, racing, car show, drifting...

Anyone get many pictures?
