Valley Motors Leaving Porsche?
Valley Motors Leaving Porsche?
I heard through another dealership that Valley Motors was about to leave Porsche (or maybe Porsche was leaving Valley Motors).
Any truth to that?

Yup. I found out last week about it. Apparently, the only two Porsche techs at Valley Motors are also being moved over to Porsche of Towson (aks Towson BMW). This is a problem for me and a potential brick wall between me and a P car. I simply will not go anywhere near Towson BMW. The facility is owned and managed by crooks and cheats. They are among the worst to deal with in the sales department and their service rates are ludicrous.
Here is what I heard a couple of weeks ago:
"... Porsche is going away from there (Valley Motors)... Towson BMW is picking up the Porsche franchise and putting it where the Minis are now, Minis going to Pikesville up st. from Northwest BMW. ..."

I wonder what will happen with Valley Motors Porsche...will the Subaru just take over that building?
I drive by that new Mini dealership everyday on my way to work. I was wondering how they got such a huge inventory of Minis so fast! haha

I have been to Annapolis recently for an oil and break fluid change. I provided then all the parts and oils. They were about $80 less than a quote from Valley Motors. The staff were very friendly and was able to even talk with the tech.
There was a new GT3 in the service bay area for delivery, and I asked them if I could take it for a spin. Wow that car is fast. Just kidding, no fun rides for me.

I just went to the Valley Motors web-page to see if Porsche was still referenced.
It is NOT!
Not even any explanation. I just bought my new 997 there ( 2nd new PCar from them) and kind of expected at least a (form) letter from them informing me of the change. (Thanking ne for my business and where to go to obtain warrenty/service, etc .....)
I have received nothing.
If it were not for my inside sources, I would have never known about this.
Par for the course, I guess.
