Considering a move from a 335xi to a CTS-V. Thoughts?
The 335xi is very nice, drives well, and has pretty good power. 12.5ish at 112. I'm attracted to the sedan or wagon of the CTS-V as the power is monstrous. I watched EVIL V run 10.79 from a launch at idle with cams, pulley, tune and drag radials. That thing must be unreal on the street. Does anyone know of any known issues with the second gen V? The n54 in my car has fuel pump issues, injector issues, and wastegate problems. I'm thinking the V might even be more reliable... Can anyone recommend a good forum for that car? I've been to ctsvowners.com, caddillacforums.com but am pretty sure I'm missing it.
Thanks,

Spoken by a guy that already drives a Chevy
Personally I think the CTS-V is ugly, but that's just my opinion. Don't go by me though, I drive a rolling eggplant.

I am by no means a "Chevy guy", but there's something to be said for a 500+hp wagon!

^^^This. I think you need to decide what's more important...bang for your buck and lots of power, or comfort and refinement.
Not sure I'm buying the whole interior refinement thing. I got a look at a 2nd gen V and the interior was pretty good. I found it more interesting than my xi with premium pkg and nav. I have yet to test drive a V but that'll be this week. And yes, it would be the wagon - that's the only way I can sell it tithe wife... Lol. Responsible dad with a 550 hp grocery getter ftw.
No. The guy I met had a silver 2010 sedan. License plate: EVIL V with space before the V.
Since when does the 335 trap 112 and get low 12.5? It was supposed to be closer to 13.1/104 like the E46 M3
