When the weather is good I would even say get there by 6:30am.

I was there too. I find it funny that I took pictures of most of these cars too! But it is a little odd to see pictures of your own car posted on the Internet! What a neat gathering. I was trying to count how many millions of dollars worth of iron/steel/aluminum/carbon fiber there was in that parking lot. I think I ran out of fingers and toes.....

 

This week, I helped organize a larger-than-usual showing of Lotus at Katie's. We had 21 Lotus show up, with a good variety of models.

Chris Cowan tried an experiment this week - he arrived without the Viper, cold turkey, just to see what it was going to be like. He had a rough morning, but friends helped him through the withdrawals.

I think Chris need a shiney M3 to help him with his withdrawal. That should do the trick. lol

 

^^^ going from a viper to an m3 is like trying to quell a heroin addiction with pot ... Just not gonna happen .... Viper is a torque monster, m3 has no torque... Not the same ... IMO the viper ACR FTW!

 

My vote is for an Isetta with a Mazda rotary. Go for it, Chris.

This weekend seems to hold some spectacular weather ahead. I'm going to hit this event again this weekend after being knocked out by the variety and sheer quantity of fantastic cars there last weekend.

Hey, did anyone get a video of the Diablo taking off? Just got new exhaust and haven't heard it from outside the car yet. Checked today's YouTube postings, but no luck. There was one guy filming on the corner as it left.
