2013 EuroSportDC - June 9th - WashDC Exotics Tour
No Mercy!
When running an event it is easy to criticize from the outside without being on the inside. For a total cash flow of $14k for the event you could not pay me to take on the responsibility, unless it was for charity. I am sure Kevin has a lot of time invested in the planning and execution of such an event. I am sure Kevin is sincere when he says he has not made any money. The numbers just are not there. Kevin, please just keep trying to improve the event and try to keep a positive attitude even when being under attack. I personally have not been to any of the events but am going to go this year.
Valentino Balboni paid us a great compliment last year. He said he has never seen a family run event at this level before and that it is what makes it special. He said EuroSport DC is truly rare. That meant a lot to us all, especially coming from him.
We do these events to contribute to the community. I was raised this way by my grandfather (a big car collector) and his traditions continues in EuroSport DC.
Enough on that. Let's just drive...for the fun of it. Let's go push some blacktop!

Isn't this normally on a Saturday? Sundays are horrible for me. Ok, you've got 4 weeks to change it.
As for last year's event, I had a good time. Yes, we idled in line waiting to get in for a little while. Yes, the drive was just a little too long for a group drive. Yes, you allowed a TOYOTA into a European car event (?!?!?!?!). But the food was good, the Balboni presentation/Q&A was excellent, and the FIRST 2 hours or so of the drive was fun. As for the cost......Charge enough to cover your expenses. If people think that $55 is too much for a continental breakfast, lunch, and meeting a legend, they won't come. Judging by your attendance last year, I think you're doing OK.j
Signed,
The Diablo that will be SITTING IN THE GARAGE on June 9th because it's a Sunday.

Bite me you POS... Who the F are you anyway... You're definitely not from this area, thank God!!!
If we can just focus on the fun times that can be had at the upcoming event.
In the spirit of the aviation theme for this year, EuroSportDC is proud to announce that XCOR Aerospace will be attending this year's event. They will be introducing us to the Lynx, their sub-orbital space plane concept. After all, we all have a little bit of the "Right Stuff" in all of us.

Agreed! And a fun time it will be!
Thank you so much for all your hard work in bringing these events to the community....and Bull30, I'll answer your childish private messages... in private.
Okay unfortunately since I am new here I cannot respond to your private messages, but rather than replying here, I'm not going to encourage your passive aggressive behavior any further. I apologize to the community for further cluttering the thread. I support the community and the event, Bull30, I'm done with you, you can just go on about being... well, you.
Oh good lord... Really?
So, I'm hiding a known member on the board, someone with whom you have had conflict. I'd be willing to bet dollars to chocolate donuts that would probably comprise a LOT of people on this forum, and others. Well you can check with the moderators and see if this IP address or my email account fun4capecod@gmail.com (8 year old account) has ever registered here.
I viewed this thread because I am long time friends of some of the sponsors of this event and was excited to see the news here and on the event website. But when I saw you posting ill about the event and the people coordinating it I chose to speak up against you. I see now that was a mistake. It's just distracting from the thread and allowing you to continue to attempt to tarnish the reputations of the very people who are doing this all FOR YOU!
I have never been a member of this forum, and only joined to reply to your childish rants against people who have spent collective YEARS putting these events together FOR the community, even people like you. I'm sure they would say you're welcome to buy a ticket just like everyone else and join in the fun.
I did more looking though, and found your venom being spewed all over a lot of forums, I suppose you have nothing better to do.
Again, my apologies to the community and the thread poster for encouraging this character.

Your private message was extremely immature and your insults nneed a lot of work. My X-wife puts you to shame
Guys clean this up now! I'm not going to babysit over here, period. Kevin has a right to promote his event as a board sponsor. If you want to go fine if not fine it's your choice. No more disrespectful posts for or against. It's my weekend and I am on my iPhone after a long day, I do not want to nor should I have to clean up a pissing match between adults. If this continues I will delete EVERY post I find even remotely offensive to any member or parties involved.
