Dyno in MSP area for AWD

i am more than willing to dyno elsewhere to check it out. we did a similar test with another cobra between hitech and DB because of the claims that DB's reads low and found the the 2 dynos were withing 1-2 rwhp. i know similar tests were done between elite and DB when they designed the orrection factor for DB's dyno. i am confident it is very close if not right on to any dynojet in the area.

Fair enough guys.
I was told the dyno numbers were inflated. These dyno wars get crazy and I have
a very small understanding of what that motor can actually do. We will hook up
again and the good ole street dyno shows best, ie. throw a drift box (I have one)
in the car and see what it does 60mph to 130 mph. A really good one is 0-186 mph
(0-300 kph). The dragstip trap speed of course is a great tell all as well.

i know of a place to run that fast, but i don't think my car will even do it. with the tires on the car now and the 3.25 gears it runs to the top of 5th at about 160 mph or so. running lth gear to get to that speed is just asking for trouble. only shot would be to put the 28" tires on the back and see what that allows.

in all fairness the only way to verify power is on the dyno. all of the other tests you mention take into account many other factors than power alone. you could have a car that makes 5000 hp but if it weighs 50,000 pounds it will do worse in all the tests than a sporty little car with 500 hp that weighs in at 2500 pounds. that doesn't mean it makes less power.

Marty! i met you down in houston at the TX2K8 event. ill be bringing my car down next time.
you car actually had me interested in a 2002 996 but i decided to go with somthing else.
