Hello,

I'm a 20 year old college student from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I've been a gearhead for much of my life, thanks to my Dad. I've had the '68 Buick in my avatar for almost 6 years now. It has slowly progressed from bone stock to having but a few bits and pieces of the original drivetrain and suspension left, though I haven't done much with it cosmetically. I found 6speedonline in a search, as while I'm a member of the local Gran Sport club (for Buicks), I've always wanted more opportunities to cruise with a group and get out on the road. Sitting in car corrals, while occasionally being fun, doesn't really do it for me and while I do head to the track about 3 times a year, it's quite a trek for me. Hopefully I can find some fellow car enthusiasts of any make and model, though I understand this forum is geared primarily for exotics and tuners, who enjoy cruising the roads that Chicagoland has to offer.
