The new JCW Mini Cooper S?

hey i just ordered a brand new JCW mini cooper s and have one question, are the side moldings of the car painted??

no, they are not painted. many elect to have them painted.

then how come when you build a JCW Mini on the site they showed the cars molding painted?

I think it is the aerokit option that you need (and are seeing?). That is what I ordered for Week 27 build, but may pass on it.

I am thinking it is too small for everyday use, cute though; and my boys say it is a car for 16 year girls!!

has anyone just had a regular cooper s and not the jcw. and than gone through a dealer for all the jcw upgrades?

i was looking on miniusa.com and only says to contact dealer for avail. just actually looking at prices w/out giving them a call.

I think that if you order a new Mini from factory full JCW spec it will also have the JCW aerodynamics package which includes JCW sideskirts in the color of the car.

I ordered my R56 Cooper S 19 months ago and back then there was no option to get all the JCW extra's from factory so I had the JCW tuning done at the dealer about 6 months ago and recently ordered the JCW aerodynamics package which will be installed in two weeks.

Without JCW aerodynamics package the car looks like this:



With aerodynamics package it looks like this:

what are the spec differences between the JCW one and the Cooper-S ?

BBK? Im sure something with the motor?
