If you are on this board and read this, I must apologize for missing your GT-R while I was legally switched lanes in my UHaul Van at 55 MPH. Given that you passed me doing a good 120MPH right near the Braintree split, clipping your rear would have resulted in a quite satisfying, tire screeching spin sending you across a few lanes and totalling your car to great effect. My girlfriend, who was in the passanger seat, screamed when your car passed and would like me to pass along a message - eat sh*t and die.

BTW that exhaust note was deliciously exotic. Despite the fact I wish you ill for street racing apparently yourself, the car sounded fantastic.

I'm a GT-R driver. And I too will take the inner lane if I have to...

If slower traffic would stay right, faster traffic wouldn't have to use the inner lane. FACT: Most states actually have laws that require slower traffic to stay right...although rarely enforced. Meaning if not actively passing, get as far right as possible.

But, daily I find this isn't the case. People driving near the speed limit in the passing lanes. That messes up the flow of traffic. Traffic works best when each lane is moving more quickly going from right to left. But, if people going near the limit insist on using the passing lanes, someone like me or red GT-R is going to use the open lane, cause ours is blocked.

I'm guessing you were going the limit, thus, you should have already been in the inner lane. Had you been in it, you would have been passed on the left, as you would have expected and preferred.

EDIT: If you happened to be left for just a brief period passing someone going slower than 55 (which I find improbable) forgive me for chiming in.

It's hard to hate a guy when he has a car that looks, drives, and sounds so darn good isn't it!

Nope:
1) I'd never drive a red car...it's a cop bullseye. Pics of mine included just for proof.
2) I live in Kansas City.
3) Just sympathetic to red GT-R man.

But, oddly enough I wrote a story on a GTR forum, about a cop not pulling me over, because I was in a GT-R, even when I passed him doing 95 in a 70. Someone on the GT-R forum is a member of this forum, saw this thread, and asked the same question, if I was red GT-R man.

so I had to become a member of this forum and chime in.

This was a 4 lane divide less than a half mile from a N/S split. Trust me, this wasnt about parking my slow *** in the fast lane. It looked like he was going for a 1/4 mile run. If I had clipped him... with those nice sticky 285's he might have even flipped and gotten into a spectacular roll flinging plastic and sh*t for miles. Were talking Micheal Bay money shot here.
