Those 18's are a popular choice for the hardcore track junkies in the GT-R. The wheel/tire combo saves an insane amount of weight.

Yeah, some of those lighter SSR and Enkei racing series wheels get down well below 20 lbs. which is nuts as far as wheel weight is concerned! Alot less mass to move around the track is what it's all about......and a better selection of racing tires doesn't hurt either!
