Not surprised at all. GTR is a fast car but its straightline speed stock is not up there with the big dogs at all. Id love to see the GTR vs the 599 on a roadcourse though. It would be alot closer than this I would imagine track dependant of course.
Yeah I know about this sick beast lol but it isnt street legal afaik. I think I read the GTO is the street legal version of the 599xx. Homolgated so they can race the 599xx even though there are no plans at the moment to race the 599xx
More apples to apples with the GTO vs the LF-A as they are both ultra street cars.
On another note Id love to see the LF-A and 599xx in FIA GT1 running with the Sumo Power GTR's.

The 599 should be faster....it has more power, a little less weight and it costs a heck of a lot more. Yes, I expect the more expensive car to be faster. Doesn't always work out like that but I expect it.
Imho this level is where the Vspec should have been performing in. If they could have kept it under 150k, 3400lbs and 600hp while being street legal there wouldnt be much under 500k that could handle a Vspec with those specs on a race track as the standard GTR is already scary for most exotics on a track. Cant wait to see what Nissan has for the GTR in the future though.
That would be sweeeet but if the Vspec is 215k I wonder where they would price the Z Tune. The old R34 Ztune was around 180k plus if memory serves.
