Quote: Quick question for Scott on your 60-130 list , what are the requirements ? does the car have to be in street legal form? I'm just curious why these 7 sec supras don't record their times? I'm sure ohios's supra runs in the 2's ...just wondering if there is a class for 60-130 ?
I don't have any requirements, other than the file must be verified and be on a slope less than 3.00% over the course of the run.

The list is primarily for street cars, but I'll happily post drag-car times as well, with the caveat that they're drag cars. People just need to send me the files.

I posted Stacey Barton's 3.40 run from his auto Viper. I'm not sure what kind of 1/4 mile times that car ran, but I'm sure it was in the 8's or better.

Quote: It's really a drag car, so not much sense in recording a 60-130 since I'll rarely ever have it on the highway. Maybe with a different combo down the road.

It runs an 1/8 mile in 4.92 @ 154 on 28*10.5 tires but I've never hooked up a pbox. I'll take a look at a motec log next time out.

It would be very interesting to see the time just for fun!

And congrats on the lambo TT ,I know that's what you have been wanting for some time!

Thanks. I've admired them for awhile but it was honestly an expensive impulse buy after meeting the UGR crew and driving some of their customer cars back in Jan. Tym was weeks away from putting in a 4.35 stroker for the Texas meet when I asked him to hold off....now Scott and Tym are going to try to make me regret my decision.....

Quick update:

Scott's engine went from a table of specially blueprinted components last week to long-block status as of today. Ideally turbos and other components will be mounted later this week and installed in the car soon after that.

From there the break-in procedure will begin as soon as we have a transmission to run the car through, which right now is being built at ShepTrans, fully loaded with Dodson ProMax clutches.

After we break it in properly, dyno-tuning commences, and that is where things will get interesting...

More than the R1K.

Stock ratios?

The car will be able to accelerate from 0-200mph in about 4 secs, but it is going to be redlined for the last 7/8 of the standing mile?

Vmax at 8000rpm is 226mph, or thereabouts depending on tire growth.

It would likely hit 200 before the 3/4 mile mark.

Also, just so everyone knows...I didn't ask Switzer to build me a TX Mile car. Hence the stock gearing.

No reason to be jealous of me, bro. You have a pretty bad-*** car of your own.

Not much bigger than what we are running right now, specifics are TBA.
