imho, this platform is far from proven in huge hp fashion in reliability and performance, why don't you boys wait until ANYONE actually puts down 1/4mi times that equate to their hp. I wouldn't be proud of a 1001whp dyno sheet on a mustang dyno and a 9.9sec et. for AMS or Switzer(yes ams was a little faster, well .3 is a lot faster; but it doesn't matter..you guys aren't in the low 9's and further which you should be). So wait at least another year to start arguing boys ? At least you will have more data to argue about by then.

btw, i've never seen martin from ams come on a forum and defend his shop like that, except once on evo-m against dave buschur himself, pretty out of character for martin to come on here like this.

I think both shops are great shops, you can't go wrong with either one; ams is more of a "pro" racing shop, doing builds for t/a, autox, road race, etc. while switzer builds retarded fast street cars that can spank it at the drag strip. Dive's thread now, how about?

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't AMS and Switzer both run low 9's with AMS almost cracking the 8's?

Wtf are you on about?

1001 hp 9.9? have u seen the mph? Not everyone equates 1/4 mile et as fast. I could care less, all i care is about mph. Some do , some dont.

BTW AMS touched 9.07 in the 1/4 mile. So isnt it low 9s?

Switzer did 9.6 with a 2.2 60 ft in their stage 1 R1K, no with even higher midrange torque (450tq) i bet they are even more potent for high 8s or flat 9s.

Do a little searching before you post next time.

Best ET last year was 9.38 and best mph was 160.x for R1K. As you have stated, the package has really evolved since then and should be much more potent on the street and on the drag strip.
Scott's car is an R1K+ and I am excited to see what it does as much as Jasper.

Yep. And in addition that, my car (when Jamie owned it) went 9.6 at 146 at only 800 whp.

sorry, I was incorrect about the times; my point was to stop the bickering as the car's don't have huge mileage on them and a lot of passes at huge power(1000whp+) by multiple owners...there

Switzer P800 cars in Russia?...they put 10k+ miles and are abused on a daily basis.
