Out with the M3, in with the GTR!
With my yearly mileage coming down from 20k+ to only 6k I decided to revisit the idea of a GTR as my daily. I picked up this one on Sunday, trading in my M3 for a rather amusing deal that involved a salesman getting fired and me walking out with a $6k discount, 2 years extended warranty, 1 year free servicing and 4 brand new tires.
It's an '09 Premium with 8k miles on it and a full clear bra (I'll be having the front replaced with the new xpel). 1 owner and in immaculate condition inside and out.
I'm thrilled with it, for once I can honestly say I don't want *anything* else, this is the car I should've bought all along. My only complaint would be how easy the silver parts inside the car scratch. I guess it's time for some carbon!

congrats on the ride!!! what happened at the dealership that caused all that commotion?? beautiful ride anyways!! i really want a gtr but i can't really afford it right now + i drive a LOT .... thinking of picking up a used e93...
Thanks guys, I'm absolutely over the moon with it, it's fantastic!
I didn't even plan on buying the car, I just went to my local dealer to look at 370's for my wife and saw it there. My wife said we should get it (knowing how much I've been on about it for ages) and sat down to get some info/figures. The salesman told us it was an '11 with 900 miles - imagine our surprise when the in service date made it an '09!?
The sales manager sent the salesman home immediately and thanks to a very lucky turn, being that the dealership owner is one of those deeply moral types, they stopped us walking out of the door. It was up for $76k initially and they were offering pretty good money on my M3. In the end I walked out with the car for $68k + 2 years of their best extended warranty, 0 deductible, 4 new tires, a car cover and a year's free servicing.
Overall I did quite well I think given the prices GT-R's are trading for on OVE.

Pretty sure I put a cat among the pigeons there. I can't believe people can get so riled up, especially when I even owned an M3!
