Hi I just wanted to make a short introduction. I am new to this site, but not to the car industry or online communities. I usually hangout on the 300zx forums since I am building my Z. However havent really talked to any other online sites, and thought why not, since it looks really exciting, especially since a lot of you guys are local.

I also have my Honda Cbr 600RR motorcycle and my 300zx Twin Turbo which Im building to 450whp..

Welcome aboard. I had a 300zx TT back in the day (I also ran the bay area Z club for a couple of years). Coincidently, it made 450rwhp as well...total pita to work on though.. :x hehe

 

haha yea tell me about it! the engine bay is not a favorite to work on! but when the engine is out is fairly easy, thats why I just decided to do an overhaul right away!

and Im for sure going to check out some meets and hopefully see you guys out there!

I was scanning your mods and this is something I gotta see, what's up with this on an e46 m3?? No sunroof I presume?

Probably need your drop your car some more with coils since your rear seems to sit higher than ur fronts giving it a raised look (perhaps it's the angle of the pics?)

do you do your own engine work on the z? My buddy always seems to have at least 2 or 3 Z's on his rack doing some insane turbo work.....

correct I have no sunroof!

the 10" screen is mounted basically where the sunroof would of occupied, pretty much right infront of the rear passenger seats. The swivel is that it folds down and I can face/ turn it any direction I want...

this is the only current picture I have if it helps...



and yes the rear seems to be a little more raised, and it is but not that noticable, it is mostly just the angle on those pics, you can see that a little better on this shot



but I've only changed the springs, but coilovers are in the near future, this was just about as much I could drop without rubbing.

really? thats sweet! the Z has a lot of potential, and I love that car, and I have little to know experience with the Z and its crammed engine bay. during the rebuild did a lot myself, however with no utilities or resources, Im having someone else drop the engine...

That would be really pleasant. I see a lot of drivers out there, which I believe are on this site. It has kind of changed my perspective now. especially when I see a porsche etc, wondering if they are on here! haha

in fact I had a RS4 honk and wave at me as if I knew him, thought it could be from here..

it was a Blue Stock RS4 04+ with limo tints and stock wheels. Met over on milpitas blvd...
