If you guys are up for it, I've done about five meets in San Luis Obispo to unite NorCal and SoCal members of some BMW forums. It's usually an overnight affair on a Sat and the drive would definitely be longer than Monterey but might be worth it for the trek down Hwy 1? I've personally never driven that road and have only gone straight down 101 but guess it should be next on my list.
I might be planning one for Oct or early Nov and would love to see you guys and your awesome cars there.
