Any meet or drive going on this weekend in SF bay area? I may do a drive on 9/2 Sunday around the pennisula/south bay if anyone is free.

 

Thinking of going to EuroSunday in Portola Valley on Sunday. I'd be up for a drive after that. We could meet and go from there. Also, There's a car show in Alviso on Saturday my son and I might go to if I can get up and wash the car in the morning.

 

I will drop by the eurosunday event, thanks for the info. I will either take the Lamborghini or a Porsche 944

 

What kind of turnout do they get at this event? I've only been to the EuroSunday events in the East Bay.

I just did a drive today today from Saratoga through Hwy 9 and 35 to Alice's (breakfast), and then out on 84 and Hwy 1 down to Pescadero State Beach. It was really foggy and drizzly up on Hwy 35 (down to 100-200 ft. visibility), but it was nice by the time I got out to the coast. I may be up for driving in that area again on Sunday.

 

Where in portola valley is the meet and what time is it?

Thanks. That's a nice strip shopping center with coffee shops. I plan to be there around 9:30a, may be with another Lambo.

 

They had about 60 cars last month and it was kind of cloudy that Sunday as well. My son and I washed cars last night but slept in this morning instead of going to Alviso. Hope to see you tomorrow.

There were abt 20 cars. Mclaren, pcar, noble and bimmers. Let's meet up this sat at club autosport.

 

A Lancia, an Austin-Healey bugeye sprite, an MG, a Ferrari 360, and an Ultima GTR.

Some of us took a drive after down Alpine Rd. to Portola Rd. and them up the hill to Alice's. We added a new 991 to the group at Alice's and headed down Skyline and then down highway 9 into Saratoga. Beautiful weather on the top of the hill.

 

Hah, you guys must have been just behind me after I left. I did that same route, but continued on La Honda all the way to the 1 - absolutely amazing drive! Great meeting you all, look forward to future meets.

Kind of annoying how they don't use the turnouts eh? Unfortunately, I won't be able to do C&C this Saturday. Anything going on this Sunday? I might try to check out the races down at Laguna Seca.
