Wtb: E39 M5

Ok 6 Speeders,

I am looking for a daily/practical car and my latest pick is the E39 M5. Always loved these cars for their looks and performance - so i might just have to get one.

I want something with 4 doors and a big trunk, otherwise its not worth getting a second car - but it has to be fun (power + stick) or else ill never drive it and that defeats the whole purpose.

I prefer a Lemans Blue, Imola Red, or Alpine White.....but a nice black one would be cool too. No wood trimmed interiors. No mods preferred (ill take care of that ).

Miles around 50,000 give or take a few....

PRICE: Around $24,000 to $28,000 (i wont budge - i dont need this car so i have time)

Any leads are greatly appreciated

Is the 911 your only car currently? If so, I would suggest something AWD as a daily/practical ride since we live in the Northeast.

If you do get an M5, though, you'll have a blast. I looked at them and thoroughly enjoyed it my seat time in one.

Yea Jeff, the 911 is my only ride now, but i really dont need AWD for the handful of days that the weather is THAT bad around here. I dont HAVE to be at work in the event of snow () and if i need something REALLY bad my parents have two beasts for me to use.

I too have driven the E39 M5 and love it - 400hp ///M V8...whats not to like?

I will later tomorrow. It's just black/black.

I dunno about price.

I think around 60k miles? All miles to races and stuff. Typical rock chips etc.

Those cars are so cheap now. Wow, everything is getting cheap. My Dad just picked up an 09 E60 M5 for 66k. The VP will drive it. No its not mine, so don't ask to see it at meets!

Red M5 would be pointless anyway. There are such great colors available. What a waste that would be!
