Maybe we could set up a simple website? I am thinking, directions to the location, time, some pictures/video and maybe some sound.

obviously there is some development over time that must occur to get to this point.

looking forward to this,

see you
All good ideas, I am also working on some sponsors to help offset the cost of the website and some focused advertisements.

As Mark (H20Skier) pointed out, it will be very important to involve all the local clubs. Well maybe not these guys - http://clubs.hemmings.com/frameset.c...=lambdacarclub

And as you have stated it is indeed a work in progress.

I have a guy that I did not know was an older Porsche collector interested in joining us at these events. He has a real Porsche 550A among many other collectibles. I have known thisguy for over a year and just found out today that he was a Pcar guy.

I'm all for getting these events up and going. I like Matt's suggestion of Newcastle. That would mean more sleep for me in the mornings. Hey though, we do have a Starbucks and a big parking lot that would be empty in the morning time.

I'd volunteer for helping get the website up and running.

Newcastle is a nice area, but far away for others. I have some other ideas for this event, and ways to draw a crowd that we are talking about. The big trick is this....what else draws these people to come? besides the cars... the location is a key factor and what if the location is good to where they do brings the wifes/S.O. they can do something else while we B.S. about cars. We need something for that too. I will be looking around the next week to see what comes to mind. Maybe other people can chime in also

I told you that Starbucks in Gig Harbor where I live has a Target in the same parking lot. What else do the wives need?

The meeting at Alki had the best turn out even when it was December.
