What do you do for a living?
Hmm... a tri-tip steak would be good too. I only have frozen ones right now and they taste so much better fresh :-).... Anyone live near Stewart's Meats down in the Yelm area?
Well, I interviewed for a Support Analyst position and it turned out to be more of a network admin and system engineer position.
I'm definitely not the man for that job. He seemed to like me at least and told me to get back with him in a year. So it's not all bad.
NEXT. This place has me at my wits end.

I'm pretty much determined to get on at Microsoft at this point in time though. I'm tired of this "ma and pop" shop IT crap where I'm basically an IT generalist and anything that can fit into that category gets passed on to me. I do pretty well financially, but there's a lot more room for growth in a structured corporate environment.
Right now, I'm a System Administrator / Webmaster and only contact for tech support for my entire company. I'm responsible for 500 end users, in 4 states and 17 store locations. I also manage our Exchange, Web, Help Desk System, Blackberry Enterprise Server, 2 file servers and 4 terminal servers. On top of that, all of our shop computers, including our chassis dyno's and associated licensing.
Oh, and I'm in the process of building a "cutting edge" website with constant interuption.
It sucks when you know you can make a lot more and do a lot less simultaneously. Which is why I'm tryin to get into a bigger/more structured environment. There's more clarity in my job responsibilities and a lot more room to grow, which is what I need more than anything.

As it stands right now, I'll take just about anything that matches what I make here. I thought about taking a little vacation from working completely, but that would just be foolish.
But it would also be foolish to do that to jump from job to job to job etc. So I'm stuck here in the madness until I find the job I want/will stay at.
