What do you do for a living?
You're kidding, right? I'm talking about the houses for the Street of Dreams. One of the developers didn't even have enough insurance coverage to cover his losses. I think of the 3 that were completely destroyed, only one developer has already said they'd rebuild.

The burning of the homes at Quinn's Crossing upsets me to no end. WTF is wrong with people? These homes were built to demonstrate how to incorporate Built Green into high end homes. To destroy them in the name of "liberating the earth" makes no sense. I visited these homes last summer and as a builder, I can only begin to commiserate with the developers of these properties. Imagine seeing a year of hard work (nevermind the $) go up in smoke by the hand of some radical environmentalists (if ELF can even call themselves that).
I've had my share of run-ins with tree-huggers while developing land/building homes, but this story really makes me sick to my stomach.

Agreed, Simon. As someone who worked with a builder a few years ago in getting my home built, I can sympathize with these builders. What really sickens me even more is that ELF started right here in the NW.
Easy to mistake a sitcom muppet with a domestic terrorist group......LOL
Sorry couldn't resist....
+1. I'm known so well at my local Starbucks that often when I visit other Starbucks' an employee who transfered from my main store will know me and remember my drink
(Yes, this has happened 4-5 times now... I'm not sure if this is pathetic on my part though...)
Being there's almost always a line when I go for coffee in the morning, I can't see how Starbucks is doing bad financially. I haven't read up much on the topic though... so there might be a good reason.

It's the same at the starbucks next to my store. We actually have our drinks made before we even make it to the register (They see us in the back of the line and make our drinks). Typically I only drink the drip coffee's though so it doesn't take up any of their time, but I do appreciate it.
BG - wigs and pink tshirts... no problem! I will be out to play when the car is ready... I am very anxious...
DJ - actually a small forklift or at least a pallet jack would be very helpful for you... keep all the wheels and tires on a pallet just load it in your trailer and go... you could also move your boat around... lift chassis/drop engines, the usefullness of a forklift is limitless... Heh... this could become the "IT" accessory in Newcastle!
BTW -- I sell forklifts etc...Certified woman owned business
Locally owned and operated for 35 years
Another dealership in Portland, OR I pay for leads that turn into sales that we do not already know about.
I pay for referrals that turn into sales/service etc.
I offer 6speed discounts on rentals and sales.
I am your basic forklift ***** -- parts, service, sales (new and used), rentals etc.
(well maybe not "*****" per se...
how about "high class forklift escort"? sounds too expensive...
how about "high class forklift escort" for "forklift *****" prices...
yeah that is the ticket
)
In all seriousness -- call me if you need anything and I will help if I can!

I build custom homes (Currently only in Medina, Clyde Hill & Bellevue).
Also have a retail store for interior building materials: Natural stone, cabinets, hardwood, tile all that jazz. I can definitely hook you up on any of those things (price & quality wise).
