That is why I purchased them originally. When I put the Eibachs on I had to have something.
here is the quote i received:
Front 26.8mm 5 way adjustable swaybar kit with all bushings and Tarett adjustable droplinks. $575
Rear 19.1 4 way adjustable swaybar kit with all bushings and Tarett adjustable droplinks $425
Labor to install and set swaybar preload 4 hrs @ $95/hr.
There will also be a freight charge as I have to special order it.

You also mentioned selling the car in a year. If that's still the case, I say keep your money because it's not going to add a cent of value to the car if you drop 1500 on swaybars through cantrell.
However, if you have your heart set on swaybars, I think there's better options out there for SUBSTANTIALLY less.

The front bar is a little thinner and the rear bar is a bit thicker, which is going to make your car oversteer a bit more with the HR kit. If you buy the HR Kit, I'll help you install it.
But all in all, swaybars should be the last thing that you do as far as your suspension is concerned, springs/struts should be further up on your list.
they are really good about charging the same price as what you can purchase it for youself. the brand of the sway bars may just be more expensive i guess.
as far as selling the car, if i have any modifications done on it, i'll keep a lot longer. i completely agree with you that it makes no sense to put $$ in to it only to sell it.
my goal with the sway bars was to have it handle better around corners at higher speeds on the road, autoX, etc.
thanks for the info!

Sorry Mitchel but I think I'd put a lot more trust in Cantrell than your own opinions. He's got years of experience racing 997 Cup Cars under his belt. I'd trust his judgment on these matters more.
When tuning your suspension with swaybars, you have to take tire sizes into account. I doubt Cantrell even bothered to ask what tires/sizes she was running on when recommending products and quoting the install.
Tire sizes play a HUGE role in tuning a cars suspension, they are usually the first step in tuning how your car handles. Second step is suspension, springs/struts or coilovers, then from there, you install adjustable swaybars to tune it to achieve your handling goals.
You may want to do suspension before tires, if you intend on changing the tire sizes you run on your car as it sucks to install a new suspension, then have fitment/rubbing issues.
Anyway, I recommend that Jody scrap even doing the swaybars for now, invest in some good tires for her stock 17's and spend the remainder on Proformance this year. She will benefit more from the driving school than the 1,500 dollar swaybars.
