Some HDR pics of a very fast BLUE car

And finally, as the picture taker, I am given a glow. GhostHunter is on the case:

And yeah, the car got a major wash and wax after I got home. 4.5 hours of driving and my average mpg was 25.2. I should have a green glow!

Beautiful shots. I love the gloomy sky of the PNW.

Good one, Mark.

This is what I found on HDR: "In simple layman terms: High Dynamic Range. The ability to take a series of different exposures of the same scene and combining them in post processing so basically all the image is properly exposed." Or if I were to define it, you basically take two or more pictures of the same thing with different settings and combine them into one image which usually looks kinda funky if not done right.

I'm an employee and a very good supporter.
I don't think a whole lot of my paycheck gets past the employee store. The picture of me above has me head-to-toe in company product, and that's pretty typical for me.

I drink the kool-aid all day every day...

The best and highest use of the HDR I've found is on www.stuckincustoms.com . He has the "HDR Tutorial" link on the right. My tool, and the general HDR tool of choice is a software app called Photomatix that can work with one .RAW or several .RAW or other format photos. I generally bracket the appropriate exposure by 1.5-2 stops on either side. Occasionally I'll do 5 or 6 exposures.

My criteria for "really fast" is that its faster than a 993 Turbo S beetle.

Hey Bruce,

If any of you guys are in Portland and want to swing out to Beaverton for a while, PM me. You don't need to miss the passes

Yeah that NIKE ACG logo has a really crappy triangular look to it, doesn't it?

Chris
