Well today my supervisor came up to me and asked me if I played golf. I told him I don't anymore but I did my fair share dabbling about 10 years ago. He said theres a Battalion Golf Day on Tuesday. Of course I said I was in so that I could get out of work, but I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew. So any last minute refresher tips I can practice in front of the mirror so I don't get the "Had the most fun" Trophy.

When you're about to tee off, just say "That's a gimmie", then head back to the club house and start drinking.

Should be a beautiful day for golf. The ball goes into the hole - I haven't tried to get my clubs in the new TT yet, do they fit? Might get my car dirty though - not ready for that yet.

 

The most important thing to remember is this........

Plenty of cooler space in the back of the cart for beer!

Oh and keep your head down.

 

On a serious note though, anyone up for a 6speed golf day in the next couple of weeks?

 

Maybe, but I have developed a wicked slice so the clubs have been collecting dust while I wait for my slice to go away

 

it's all in fun so I don't think it matters all that much. I think we'd all have a good time.

If there's enough interest, I can put together a thread and set up a day.

 

i am a horrible golfer, but i'm really good at driving the cart. =P
