thanks for the compliments! they are H&R springs and the headlights were actually taken to a body shop, disassembled, painted, clear coated, and reassembled again. =) i just had the same thing done to my boxster with the lights. i wanted mine to look different than the other silver boxsters out and about. =D










i guess anyone that sees our cars now knows we may be a "team". lol!

Why did you not do yours the same silver as the car?

 

i thought about it, but i wanted the theme to match todd's. lol! plus, i wanted the front to match the back as well. and i wanted something that i haven't seen before on a silver boxster. you know me....i like to be different! pink calipers and all! =D

 

I think you should have gone with silver too. Black IMHO looks a bit "off" on a silver Boxster. Now it looks like your car has a pair of black eyes. Silver really would have been much more elegant. One guy at Benchmark had the headlights/tailights on his 7 series frosted silver so that the lights still shine through and it looks GREAT!

 

I would have done the silver but it looks good anyway. I like the idea of making headlight covers...HMMM maybe I will try it.

 

i considered silver, and i agree, it flows better with the look, but i didn't want to have mine look like the others that do have the silver. i knew when i made the choice people would love it or hate it, but that happens whenever people do a modification. i'm happy with my choice with the black. =D

So, pink calipers = nail polish. Headlight covers = eyeliner. You need a luggage rack on the trunk lid for a "purse".
