I sure hope not..maybe he had the rears lifted up on those wheel lifts. Some tow trucks use those.

Well it wasn't a regular tow truck. Only way I can describe it is that it was a regular diesel truck with a wooden tow dolly on the rear

I wish I had gotten a picture

If a Lamborghini breaks down under warranty, the company takes over from the minute there is a problem. You call an 800 number and the car is theirs after that. It's hard to say what happened as they are not prone to failing while out on a drive. It could be that they got a check engine light (which can happen with nothing more than loose gas cap) and he didn't want to risk it. The 800 number doesn't manage diagnostics and simply arranges transport to the nearest dealer for service.

^ Did not know that. Maybe someone knows the owner and can ask him what was wrong.

This is why I prefer to wash my cars myself. You don't know where those mitts have been.

I wasn't there, but Kim was. We'll talk to them. They typically do a decent job.

That's scary to think the mitt was on the ground. I freak out when I drop something on the ground washing my MINI let alone an SV that's 120x the cost of my car.

Waht makes you think it was broke down..?

Just an assumption, or did you stop and get the facts..?

Could have ran out of gas...

Could have been being impounded by the Police for a major traffic violation
**(Washington State has the right to do this to an out of country violator to guarantee payment)**

So do you KNOW what it was..???

FYI, if IN fact it was towed with the front wheels down..

a) there is a switch located behind the drivers seat that dis-engages the alarm tilt switch for towing

b) the AWD sysitem, as with most drive trains, can be easily disconnected underneat for towing of this nature, which most decent tow companys would see

That is correct Tom..with one MAJOR exception..

I know as this has happend to me..

IF you are operating a USA car in Canada IT IS not covered under the 800 tow number, you need to get it back on this side of the Boarder, same with a Canadian car in the USA..

ONLY place in the world this happens with Lamborghini due to the STUPID Canadian "Importer" that still is under contract with Lamborghini, last place on earth this is still in place.

Canadian Dealers are NOT requuired to provide warranty service on USA cars and same for USA Dealers against Canadian cars...VIN # exclusive..

Of course, if you "yell" hard enough...there is a exception to every rule. When I got my very first Lamborghini in 2002, the closet Dealer service was San Fransisco. I was granted permission and waiver to bring my car to Vancouver B.C. for warranty work at the time. HOWEVER it was my responsabilty to get it up there..towing was NOT covered.
