New black R8 (V10 I think) up Highlands Drive hitting a deer that sprinted across the street at likely 50mph head on. Not good outcome for anyone involved. Turned around to see if everyone was ok, but R8 kept on going and was no where to be seen. Can only imagine the damage - the sound of the hit was tremendous.

Interesting, I have a friend in town doing a commercial for Ford Corporate. He's a professional driver that does the "professional driver on a closed course" commercials. I'll ask him if they used this at the shoot today.

A couple of days ago on Lucile & airport way the new Mclaren MP4-12C, gray with some kind of yellow plates.
Last weekend on the Ballard bridge Ferrari Daytona heading south and at the same spot a few weeks earlier a 599.

It could very well be mine, if it's black with grey wheels and dark tint. Most of the other local black Z's I've seen have chrome wheels. Very nice R8 btw (I seen it at RTC), a friend of mine was just test driving them this morning at Barrier Audi and is in the market for a used black V10 R8, just hopefully not one that's been in a deer collision ;-)
