Website Complete (mostly)

Hey I'd like to thank Aaron Pass (dwnhillskater) for the website he built us. I'm still working on the Gallery / Projects pages as I still need to get all the images resized / uploaded in order for them to be hosted property.

http://www.pacific-castles.com

Thanks again Aaron! We'll be having you start our other company page shortly!

Nice and simple. You should try and incorporate some of your work on the index page so it grabs the viewer's initial attention.

Are you required to post your license # on any advertising? Think it's required to post CCB#'s here in Oregon.

Visilli, looks really great! I agree that more pictures would be really great to add - customers will want to see the fine job you do.

All great criticisms! I'll still be making changes for probably the next week or two until we get it exactly how we want it. Also still working on images for the main page etc. Thanks for all the comments!

I think it looks great. I (cough, ouch, hack, crap) agree with Mitchel on the small font used at your Gallery, Contact lines. They are very hard to read.

I'd like to say I threw no one under the bus. I just pointed out how tough it was to agree with mitchel about the hard to see font on the one line....

Greta I forgot to thank you for my Birthday present. Would have been better if you and the husband would have joined us for some wine on my deck but I'll live with the free starbucks for life card you mailed me

I had no problem with anything you wrote Mark - you always conduct yourself with integrity (or humor in fun). No issues at all - my comments were directed at Mitchell only. By the way, you are welcome. Hope to see you soon.

No problems here Mark! I did agree, and it was taken care of quite quickly. I appreciate all criticism as I will most likely be making changes until it's exactly where I want it to be. So far I'm pleased with everything. I still need to get more content up and it's scattered all over different computers, takes time to get everything together.

I would have to agree here. Regarding colors & all that, they are all my choices. I prefer the simple & stylistic look of black & white. I absolutely hate website that are confusing to navigate. I had one goal, to build an image gallery, put up my address/contact info & info re our company. All of those goals have been met by Aaron and I am pleased with everything. The image gallery will still take some time as I need to cherry pick everything I have. I think all the negative comments to Aaron were uncalled for & definitely immature. This website is not meant to sell us to a client, more like a place for them to come and view our work once we point them to it. So far we haven't had any problems without a website, this will just help make things easier for us & our customers.

I really like the website. Very cool. I like the black and white, IMO it has a nice feel to it.

I enjoyed how the pictures opened up in frames when you clicked the images. The only thing IMO if it were me (and this is entirely me, this is your site and your own taste) would be to have the images overhead, rather to the right so that the user doesn't have to scroll down and the images are still within size. Perhaps the same with the gallery page as they would all fit near each other as they all load separate pages for the gallery upon clicking.

I'm sure my word has very little as I'm brand new to these boards. But i just wanted to post my own $.02 as you said you were open to feedback.

Either way, looks professional IMO and very clean with a good format, user friendly, easy to navigate and even easier with the submission page for contact rather than forcing someone to copy and paste the email address.
