New!!--Exotics At Redmond Town Center
I know it's supposed to be a rain or shine event, but are they going to have it covered up if it's raining? Or opened up at all? I'd love to get some photos, but it's hard to do that in the rain....
We'll do our best to not do the roped off thing, but we'll need everyone's help keeping people's hands off.
We will be using the I garage if it rains. This is the tall garage next to the hotel and theater that can take large trucks. There is an open corner where we will display the car and have those who made it out park in that same garage. We'll start to work on the parking arrangement on Thursday once we know how the weather is likely to lean. We will do our best to keep it a normal event, except for a lot more spectators and some press.
We'll you'd know where to get parts! I'd guess they would have to do something like this to make the car somewhat reasonable in price.
I can't wait for germeezy to buy this thing; can I get a ride?
It's not a kit car, in the technical sense of the word. It's an non mainstream production car....because it comes assembled. And you can buy the whole car road legal with the engine already in it.
And no I won't be buying this car, a little thing called ...umm well...moolah prevents me.....

It's looking decent for weather tomorrow morning with a very small chance of rain overnight according to weather.com, so we're going to be outside, same place as usual. If by a small chance it does rain, we'll be in the east retail garage. The folks from SSC with the Ultimate Aero will arrive in town later today. I suggest coming early if you care about where we park you. Also, we may be seeing the news crews and some reporters. The website is still getting tweaked, but we'll have that up soon enough. This is a Saturday you don't want to miss!
For those folks coming from out of the area, or have never been to Exotics at Redmond Town Center, Redmond, WA, I've attached a site map of where we meet and also note where the location for the show and spectator parking. There is plenty of parking available for visitors, including the rainy day garage, it just a short walk to the event.
As Tom just posted, there is a high probability that we'll meet outside in the usual spot right next door to the Desert Fire. In case of rain, however, we've already secured the alternate location called out as *rainy day-parking structure. I've also marked up where the two Starbuck's are located and Tully's coffee houses.
Tom and I, and the regular gang look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
There is supposed to be press at this event, so make sure to comb your hair and shine your shoes!!
