I saw a massive convoy of Porsche's leaving the Supermall in Auburn this morning.. probably heading over to Redmond??

 

spring kick off tour....just driving around having fun
I was going to go, but kids didnt want to go and the wife had to go somewhere... so I am sitting here with a vacuum cleaner when I could have been there

Dust off your Porsche, take off the battery minder and come out for the Spring Kick-off Tour - our first tour of the season. Meet at 9:30, start at 10 a.m. Get those motors started for a short morning drive from Auburn to Redmond via some wonderful backroads. Tour starts at the Auburn Supermall in front of McDonald’s.

Meet 9:30 a.m., tour starts 10 a.m.
Be sure to arrive early enough to sign the waiver and attend the pre-tour meeting.

We end the tour with lunch from 12:30 – 2 at the
Coho Cafe in Redmond

I was going to ask what happened to all the P cars today. Greta made it out for a few minutes and Jag made it out towards the end. Other than that, not many other Porsches there.

Nice to see everyone today. Some great cars and new additions to the team. The Ultimate Aero was very cool and their team really nice guys. Now I am feeling guilty for not going on the Porsche Kick Off tour. My husband enjoyed seeing the cars and meeting some of you also. James, I will look forward to seeing your pictures too!

 

Good seeing you again Greta, even for only a few minutes. Thanks for letting me test out the set in your car. Sarah managed to make it out today too, and the regulars were not there to meet her. Next time she can make it out, be sure to tell her that the kids would fit just fine in the back....

 

You represented the Porsche owners well! We had only three Porsche out of 45-50 cars. The morning sure started out damp and cold, but once that sun hit, wow it was nice! We had a new record for spectators. I'm guessing more than 200 people came through.

 

did any members of the press come? it was fun to see the Ultimate Aero SSC in person

 

Yes, I saw a reporter there, but no TV stations.
