Quote: Chances are I'm never going to make it out to RTC, the traffic around there sucks, & it's just to far for a short hang out, & will take me over 3 hrs to get there & home.
3 Hours from Tacoma? I usually made the trip from Olympia to Redmond in 60-70 minutes when I worked for MSFT. That was around 9PM at night when there was no traffic. I'd assume there'd be no traffic at 7:30 on a Saturday morning as well. Also assuming that we all drive a little faster than the speed limit

We're meeting at 8:30, so there is an extra hour. I think he was talking round trip.

Yes, getting through Bellevue on Saturday morning can be tight, there is always a TON of traffic around RTC. It can take 20min from 520 to get to RTC.
405 is slow no matter what time, or date.

I was also talking combined, both ways, it's at least 90min to get there, even driving 70mph most of the way.

My main point is, that RTC is alienating most of the South & West side people. It's hard for me to spend most Saturdays driving that far for a 45min meet, that my cars don't belong at anyway (no offense taken).

I't looking like we'll have a great turnout for our first-ever-event.
The weather is supposed to be good tomorrow, sunny, however, I think it will start out like it did this morning, overcast, cool.
It was 28 deg at 7:15am, and only 37 degs at 9:00am.

But, hey, we're from the NW, this easy stuff!!!!!
Just come prepared for cold temps and standing around outside and you'll be OK.http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:

I'll be going to the Belle Pastry at 8am sharp and then convoying down with Tommy to RTC. We should be there at 8:30am--See you there!!

Having to work isn't a bad thing. Lots of people would like to have your problem.

405 isn't like that anymore with the addition of new lane off I90, and that is where the major issue was. How do I know? Well I drive up here everyday from Puyallup and I know first hand at 8am it is taking me 50 minutes from South hill to get here. Saturday mornings are a breeze
