One more, for fun. This was a cowboy I met on the side of the road, on a 3 day cattle drive. He was badass to the core, and a really nice guy. I was shooting pictures and he came over to chat.

They are truely the last of a breed. I have done a cattle drive and those boys are tough. Live the summer on the ground and cushy is having a horse trailer to bunk in. Great photo! Cowboy on our drive got struck by lighting. Hit the cook shack, went throught the aluminum supports, in his neck and out his boot. I was sitting in an aluminum chair and got shock in the legs spilling my dinner on the ground and scaring the s out of me. I went inside for more grub and found the cowboy slumped agnaist the pole.
Hole in his boot still smoking where the bolt exited his body!
City slicking executives are like lets rush him to the hospital-4 hours away.
Cowboy is stunned but says "Get me to my tent and give me a bottle of wiskey and I will be fine. I got no insurance anyway. I have been hit a few time before and I will be ok". That sparked a big debate. Hospital, hit in the lead by lighting, every MRI and CTC in the world. 2Ok Min. We got his wiskey and helped him to his tent. Checked him throough the night he was hung over but ok the next day. I nick named him him "Lighting Rod" which he was not happy with to start. His buddies liked it and it stuck.

The owner of the ranch told me he was one tough cowboy. He handles all his cattle sales. Sent him to sell 40 head one day with semi by himself. they counted the heard and they only paid him for 35. He told them to recount as there was 40. They group of 8 laughed as said he got all his was going to get except an *** kicking. The grabbed a branding iron and stepped towards him and he drew his pistol, shot the cowboy in the knee,
pointed at the leaders head and said "There are 40 head and you will pay me for 40 or you have bought your last one. You have 5 seconds. 1"
Pay the man the rest. "Lighting Rod" buys all the cattle and has a bit of a reputation. Last of a breed for sure.

Frame it for sure. Would be interesting to see in black and white or with and old time style bronzy black and white.
