Hey Greta! It was great to see you too! Yea, the line took a while then suddenly it was moving. We could have gone elsewhere where there wasn't a line but we were having too much fun chatting. So far I like it a lot. I am also happy to see they are still using our software.

Many of the applications that were built for the iPhone are still displaying the same screen size on the bigger iPad so it will take a while before the software catches up, but so far, it's nice.

 

My 7 year old nephew wanted an iPad so we hit Bellevue Square late in the day. Much to my surprise, there was NO line at all so we were able to pick one up within minutes of arriving. There were a ton of folks in the store though. I decided not to get the iPad until the WiFi + 3G version is available at the end of this month. I've had a chance to play with the iPad and it's as Tommy pointed out, like a larger iPhone.

 

I'd not get the 3G version. The reason is you can currently get a Sprint 4G MyFi and have even faster speeds and more options when you sometimes need your laptop. Verizon will soon launch their 4G as well. I didn't want to be stuck with 3G and no ability to tether the connection with other devices.

 

Ok, couldn't wait. I ordered the 32 gb ipad online today - it ships on the 12th. Ordered some fun accessories too. I am excited! Will take on plane when we go to Hawaii. Jason: the AT & T plane for the 3G version which will be available the end of the month, starts at $14.99 per month.

 

I'm aware of the different options such as the Sprint 4G, etc...I'd rather have the iPad with the 3G option available just in case. It's available as a "pay as you go" plan too.

 

I'll finally be able to make it out next weekend if it doesn't rain. S/C is in, and I'm itching for some fun.
