NooB with Laser Installer Questions

Hi everyone,

I am a first time owner of a Porsche in the Portland Area. Just got my car on Wednesday and have posted several times in the 997 Forum. I am looking for an installer for my Laser Interceptor in the Portland area. Anyone have any recommendations? Is Stereo King any good?

Congrats on the car BLK, I am not sure if Stereo King does quality work or not, I have not used them personally. I have used Mobile West in SE many times on pretty much all of my cars and will go to them for my next setup probably. They might be able to help you out. Good luck.

Justin

Thanks. I have used 503 for a clear bra in the past. Tim actually quoted me higher than one of the guys that worked there. I guess it was the firend discount he was giving me. I also had brought the car there for tints, but their tint guy quit and they were looking to hire someone so...... They are not a Stereo shop, so I do not think I will use them. I have heard great things about Stereo King in the past.

What did Mobile West install for you and in what vehicles?

So I'm curious... Jammers are illegal obviously. If a LEO tags you with a laser gun and can't get any readings I'd imagine it's pretty obvious what's going on.

I was very interested in one of these until I started thinking about this. Anyone have any experience here?

Actually, laser Jammers are NOT illegal (they are in some state, but not WA or OR). The Laser jammer doubles as Park assist. If you get pulled over flip the switch and your jammer is in Park assist mode.

But Park Assist is not. I wonder if you could get it installed and if you had any issues flip the switch to park assist and there is nothing they could do?
