Hey Guys,

There are a handful of us that are going this Saturday (just drag racing). Nick, Ted and Mike are the only ones from ERTC going so far, but I also have a bunch of other friends coming out.

The more the merrier, so far it looks like it's going to be dry. I'm not a big drag racer but it's fun to see the cars and get to speed excessively without reprecussion .

I believe Nick is going to take the murci down the strip, would be cool to see some other exotics too. I'll be filming/taking pics.

 

From what time to what time?

 

8am-5pm

In case anyone hasn't been before here's the info you'll need:

$40, you'll fill out paperwork once you arrive.

Remove loose items in your car out before coming (when they give you a tech inspection they don't want anything loose in the cabin, no leaks and everything in the engine bay secure).

If you expect to run a 13.9 or better, bring a helmet.

I'd suggest coming at 1/4 tank of gas... Fuel weight will make a difference on your time

 

Man! This sounds fun!! I've already commited to autocross on Saturday, or else I'd totally join you guys for this!!! Next year, when it's back on, please keep me in the loop! I'd LOVE to see this!

 

does it cost anything to just come and watch/ hang out? I don't really want to drag my 996 but would like to meet other local car nuts and watch some sweet rides blast down the track. :-)

 

are you still going to be at the auto cross in Bremerton on the 30th? I'll be at the skills day and am going to take some runs on the auto cross course at the end of the day.. if its the same course the skills day crew uses.. ?

 

I'll be at autocross this saturday and Sunday Oct 31st. Skills day and autox will use the same course for autox. They don't use the skills day course to do any autox, so you'll probably be doing "fun runs" on the same track as me. =) But mine is the 31st. You said your day is the 30th?

I can possibly make it (M6), but I don't have a helmet...anyone have one I can borrow/rent? How busy does it usually get? If you show up at 9am approx how many runs can you get in?

Looks like it's going to be a perfect day for it, clear, sunny yet cool -so we should get some pretty good times.

Would be really cool to see both teh GTR and the M6 go down.

Was mostly corvette people that came with our group. None of the 6speed specific people showed.

Yeah sorry about that man, it seemed to be perfect weather for some runs. Unfortunately my brother surprised me and I had to hang out with him. Thanks for the call earlier and offering to let me borrow your helmet though. I am sure I'll catch ya sometime.
