Hello,

May I know where you would recommend getting wheels/tires mounted/balanced? I have wheels & tires coming and would like to know where you get yours done, please. My friend brought his brand new wheels/tires to Discount Tire in Kent area and one of the employees dropped his tool on one of the wheels (caused a dent) and didn't want to admit it. Therefore, I'm here to ask for your recommendation, please.

Byron at Tru Line in Bellevue is one of the best, it may not be right around the corner from you, but at least it will be dine right.

I used these guys to fix my C4S wheels, then got them powder coated across the street at Seattle Powder Coat. Came out beautifully

Definitely make an appointment with Byron - you won't be disappointed. I take all of my vehicles to him for tires, wheel balancing and alignment. In fact, I'll be there first thing tomorrow morning for balance and alignment on my SLK55. Call him - 425-462-0013

 

I recommend Motoring Unlimited. They mounted the wheels/tires on my Scuderia and did a great job. I won't let anyone else touch my car otherwise.

MU is does good work. Have had good experience with Tight-N-Tidy Racing too.

 

Speedware has literally done 20-25 sets for me with no issue.

I would not hesitate to take them to motoring unlimited as well.

Basically any high end specialty shop that actually has the equipment can easily do this.

True Line in Bellevue is the absolute last place on earth I would ever take my car.

Go to Cantrell Motorsports or Fordahl Motorsports instead.

 

++1 on Cantrell, -----1 on Fordahl.

 

Although their name doesn't potentially inspire confidence, I previously asked for and received glowing recommendations for Discount Tire in Bellevue (on Bel-Red Road) and they were sensational the one time I took my 996TT in for a tire issue there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them at all despite my own earlier reservations. Best wishes to you!
