Anyone interested in sharing cost in getting 2 cars wrapped at big discount?

I found the perfect wrap for my whole car but it only comes in 60"x 100ft lengths. I can get a large discount to anyone wanting to share the cost of a roll of HIGH end paint protection film that keeps your original paint color but changes it to a satin sheen.

I can also get someone to wrap it for a great price as well but if you already have someone no problem, we can just go half on the roll.

If interested please PM me and I can give you details on price and type of film that will be used. (Usually the vinyl wraps are 3 mils thick....this satin paint protection film is 8 mils thick). I can also send you links to pictures and more info on the wrap.

Anyone interested?? PM me!

JC

I thought 80% of getting a car wrapped is the labor involved? It takes like 60+ hours.

I'm generally curious about how much vinyl wraps cost as it is something I'd at least consider at some point (want to get my rear wing wrapped for a different reason now), so if anyone has information I'm all ears.

My assumption is that it costs about as much as a low end paint job since it's so labor intensive, but that is based on second hand information and not actual estimates. I'm still not even clear as to who performs those quality wraps.

Steve, $4000-8000 depending on the car. Call Metropolitan Detail, they do car wraps, & did the mat black Ferrari 458 spyder. I think that might have been in the $6k range.

For me, the draw is that you can return the car to "stock" in less then a day. For any kind of car that it's value is tied to originality it's the way to go.

Thanks. I chose not to do the jams as the car is black underneath and it didn't seem necessary. They will if you want. Process takes a few days. Service there is outstanding.

It was really nice meeting you at e@RTC yesterday and checking out your vinyl wrap in person. Thanks for educating me about them and for allowing me to ask so many questions. Your car looks terrific!

I did get to chat with John of Metropolitan Detail at the show about wraps as well! Hahaha.

A guy named Mark Wu who is bonded has been doing this for a while and does a great job charges about 2500 or so. Look on E90post for some of his work. I've seen one car first hand and it looked great.

Saw some Guardline Cars at a Griots Garage event and i am sold spoke with the owner who has a very strong clear protection background and informed me of a fisker karma in bellvue he wrapped in xpel ultimate film. Also the owner said pricing points vary from car to car but expect anywhere form $1,500-4000. I will be bringing in my GTR once i take delivery of it in may for a full Matte Blue Wrap

Here's some photo's i snapped of some cars they had on display at Griots Garage!
