Test Drove New Jaguar XJL Supercharged
Test Drove New Jaguar XJL Supercharged
I live by Rusnak Jaguar and yesterday guess what I see in the showroom.... The new XJ! Being a fan of Jaguar, had to stop by and to my surprise they asked me if I wanted to test drive one. They had a regular XJ and and XJL Supercharged. I took the XJL
In a nutshell... the car is freaking unbelievable. I was really blown away. The interior is out of this world. You got to hand it to the English they know how to design an interior. The body of the car was also very nice -very modern and refined. Kinda of like what you would expect to see in the future but it's available now. I know lots of people will disagree, but I liked it.
I really don't know why they even bother to call it an XJ. I mean the car is so far advanced from the previous model that they could have called it the XZ and it would have probably gone over much better with previous jaguar owners. The older body style is also classic, I almost picked one up one for my wife. But this new XJ is like comparing a Camry to a LS 460. It's on a completely different level.
The dash was very impressive. Following the new range rovers, its all one screen and depending on whats going on, parts of the screen will change. For example, if the door opens, then the rpm gauage will change to a notification. Seating was also very nice. The one i drove had a massaging feature that was very cool. When you engage the sports mode, the whole dash turns to a red theme.
The car drives fantastic, with tons of power and handling. Despite it being the longer version, it was very very agile. I have yet to drive a Panamera, but this car will not disappoint.
I could go on and on... but for those who are even remotely interested, you should check it out in a few months. The car is going to do very well and will be serious serious competition for MB and BMW.
