My New 11' XKR

Just picked this up... What a beast! Sound is pretty nice for a stock exhaust. But of course I'll be putting on another, dropping and adding some wheels!

Thanks guys. Tough finding aftermarket pics as they're somewhat rare and the owners apparently don't mod that often. Yet it's more beastly than Aston!

JohnN is infamous around these parts
I bought a 2012 XKR. White/black with 20inch black wheels. Sounds awesome! I had it on the track and a close friend of mine with a F430 could NOT outperform me on the straights or turns. He only made some gains on me in the braking zone after the long straight. The ABS programming on this car sucks, but everything else is amazing. The paddles/trans is beyond fantastic for a torque converter automatic!!!!!!!

That's great to know. On the British top gear, I believe the Xkr-s had faster lap times than the f430, but the 458 is much quicker around the track. I feel like my Xkr-s handles a good bit better than my old 996TT, although I have no objective data.
By the way, my car is also white with dark Gray rims. The interior is black with red seat inserts. I'm really liking the car thus far.

Thanks guys. Can't wait to lower and put some wheels and exhaust on it. It will really be a stunner in every way!

The 5.0 XKR are real beasts in a straight line, especially when tuned. Here is a vid of my mildly tuned 2010 XKR giving an Ariel Atom a run for its money on the track:

Nice video! You were pulling away from the Ariel on the straight ways. What mods do u have on your car? Any suspension mods?

At that time my car had just a tune, drop in filters and a smaller supercharger pulley. Stock exhaust and suspension

Since then, I have done exhaust and suspension, both from Spires Technologies. Check out their website, they have many nice upgrades for the Jag. Contrary to what many people think, this car is not slow ... I am literally neck to neck with my mate's G-Power SKII supercharged M3 from a roll.
