Which Car?

Hey just need opinions. I need help figuring out which car to stick with i had my mind on a rally red evo9 MR for a long time its my dream but then i came across a '93 montego blue rx7 for sale and rx7s are pretty rare and hella nice. but the evo is new and i can fit more people in it.
So which one Rx7 or Evo 9 MR?

evo is more reliable, newer, depending upon what climate you live in, better to drive everyday.

Both of the cars have some positives and negatives but I would go for the Lancer.

Rides:
E500
lx470
bmw 540i
Landcruiser
E300 turbo diesel
2006 911 carrera c2 convertible

Very different choices and really depend on what you'd usually be using it for. I love my Evo but RX7 is gorgeous (I especially like montego blue)

The RX is the better looking car, but I'd be afraid of the rotary. I've heard too many stories about engines failing.

That's a hard one... I have an Evo X and a Fd and really they are both incredible cars.

If it's your only car, go with the Evo. I'd be concerned about driving any 16+ year old car daily, let alone a turbocharged rotary one. That being said, I would love to have a LSx powered RX-7 as a toy. Good luck with your decision.

If it's a DD I would go with the Evo.

1. You get 4 doors
2. FD is hard to get into and out of

Chose Evo for obvious reasons.

Other than preference in regards to looks. I would say the Evo would probably out perform in every aspect.

I voted EVO for DD, ease of Power gains and it's 4 doors. My friend has an FD and they are awesome cars but I think they are more of a project. Here are some pics of his.

and then with a few upgrades.

Working on the big single turbo now.

If it's a weekend car go for the rx7. If it's a daily driver go for the rx7 and an old diesel benz as a back up...lol. The evo is a great all around car but it's a bit too common, a bit easy to drive, it feels cheap and a bit soulless. The rx7 has a classic sports car feel to it. It feels more nimble than an evo too even though i'm sure the evo can handle better.

+1, totally agree, RX7s are sick cars but PITA to maintain, if it's gonna be a daily driver the EVO is much more reliable
