What is the relationship between Subaru and Cosworth?
From Wikipedia-
" Cosworth has broadened this range to supply complete high performance Subaru EJ25 engines and components for Subaru Imprezas"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosworth
Cosworth USA probably has more to do with Subaru, than Cosworth UK as they provide FORD with race engines and are part of a few different race programs.
Here's a bit more history.

A bit of info on the UK only 2010 Cosworth STI - http://www.autoblog.com/2010/05/25/c...preza-wrx-sti/
Hope any of these helps.

It's a nicely built Sti, I saw your other tread about finding a drag car. I would say look into the EVO's if you want something that will be a bit easier to make power on and has a pretty solid record. There are a lot of street driven 10 second evos and 9 second evos, the motors can be built to be 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 or 2.4L depending on the turbo and power you want to make.
Forum Member VegasSE has a pretty nicely built EVO.
Check it out here.

Definately go for an evo instead of sti if you are looking for big power. The sti you posted looks nice but is probably a huge headache to keep running. Look at some Buschur or AMS built evos.
Heres a nice example http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-sho...e-release.html

if you go with an Evo, AMS makes some insanely mean ones...
why would it be a huge headache to keep running?

Personally if I was looking for a drag car I would definitely go rwd
