Thinking of test driving one. The 5.0 Sedan, just to be clear.

Opinions welcome.

 

The money is right for 429hp and it looks pretty good. I like the interior as well.

It's not as if this is going to be your main pleasure car so it doesn't have to be an M5 killer.

Why not?

 

It will be replacing my C63. Trying to be more budget minded.

 

However, I think I may wait for the 2013's so that they can work out some issues w/ the 8 speed auto.

The only knock I have seen is that the Hyundai auto is not as good as the Mercedes, which is the best auto around.

 

Went in to look at the R-spec....came home with and Equus.

Amazingly luxurious car, as nice as an S class, although it does not have quite the low end grunt.

 

How do you like equus? Genesis 5.0 sounds good on paper. Did you get a chance to drive it?

 

Love it. As stated above, its every bit as luxurious as a Merc S550 or a Lexus 460.

I may pick up an R-spec sometimes down the road.

 

Yea, I was pretty impressed with the Hyundai products we've test driven. The Sonota is a great value. The one thing I don't like about any of the product line is the lack of soul...

Post pics of the Equus, I have yet to see one. Just got a 2010 4.6 and I love it. The auto tranny can be smoother but none the less the car is smooth, the options are awesome and the power is great! Not to mention the warranty

 

What engine is that Equus equipped with?
