Let's see, Already reported drive train, electric front and gas rear, repeated commitment that the car will happen, an entirely NEW factory to build the car, Repeated testing in extremely public places and you doubt that car will happen. Look for it as a 2015 introduction for a 2016 car.....25th anniversary of the first NSX

Honda has the engineering expertise to bring a supercar to market.......
It has been rumored that Nissan invested 100 mm to develop the GTR and may not make a profit on a pure production cost basis ??
The NSX has to be aware that the target is moving and more power and tech will be needed to come close to the GTR ..
Hard to hit a speeding freight train............

I don't think the GTR is their primary target, but your point is well made and (I think) correct.

target is 911 and 458

Yes,

The GTR only sells 1000 units in North America per year while the 911 turbo and 458 sell 3,000 to 6,000 units per year .
